Reza Izad

Reza Izad is a partner at The Collective, where he oversees all corporate deals and day-to-day operations. He focuses on building and integrating the firm’s content platforms — its digital entertainment studio, record company, and music publishing company — in ways that best represent and serve clients and the content they create.

The media economy is changing, and traditional stars, studios, labels, and distribution channels no longer have the control they did even a few years ago. Reza is leading The Collective in creating teams that represent dynamic entertainers comprehensively, addressing artistic as well as financial opportunities. He is fostering a collective approach across the company that ensures top talents enjoy greater upside in today’s shifting landscape.

Reza was previously an agent at United Talent Agency, where he launched the firm’s music and branded entertainment divisions. He signed Eminem, and later worked with producer T-Bone Burnett on the multi-Platinum, triple-Grammy soundtrack to the Coen Brothers’ film O Brother, Where Art Thou? He then packaged and managed the Down From The Mountain Summer Tour, featuring artists from the movie.

At UTA, Reza worked with clients Justin Timberlake and Prince on projects in film, television, merchandising, and home video. He also founded the agency’s New Ventures/Entertainment Marketing division, which helped create award-winning brand integration campaigns for Fortune 500 companies such as Ammirati Puris Lintas, Kenneth Cole, Bausch & Lomb, and Loews Theatres.
Reza went on to co-found BOX Entertainment, a live event production company. He produced and packaged shows in Las Vegas, including Gloria Estefan — Live At Caesars Palace and Gordie Brown At The Venetian.

Reza began his career interning for Roger Corman while still at USC, where he studied History. He is married with two children and lives in Los Angeles.
