
Federico J. Blanco
Federico joined The Collective in 2012 as its General Counsel and oversees the company’s legal affairs in connection with corporate and employment matters, joint ventures, strategic investments and other business activities.
Prior to joining The Collective, Federico was a Vice President in the legal department of a multi-billion dollar financial services conglomerate where he oversaw and managed the legal affairs of various wholly-owned subsidiaries.
Prior to that, Federico was an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP in Los Angeles where he represented media clients such as HBO, Disney, MGM, Activision, MGA, Jakks Pacific, and others in a variety of complex disputes and corporate transactions.
Federico’s experience also includes working for the Hon. Denise Cote, U.S. District Court, in the Southern District of New York and in the Legal & Compliance Department for UBS Investment Bank.
Federico received a B.A. in History from Yale University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, and is admitted to practice in California.
